JUMPZONE

Sunday continued.... Daddy went golfing so I decided to take Connor to JumpZone so I could get some relief from the hot weather and he could still have fun. Apparently Sunday late afternoon when it's hot outside is the perfect time to go. We almost had the place to ourselves which was great considering this was our first time there. Connor had so much fun eventhough there is really only two inflatables that we could go on, considering his age. On the way home he kept saying "more slide, more slide".... don't worry we'll be back!!!

EAA

"JAWS" the plane

US Air Force Plane

Connor's favorite part of the EAA

Our little pilot
Today we went up to the EAA in Oshkosh. We had gotten free tickets from a friend of Chris' so we decided to take a trip up. I had never been before and WOW I didn't know how big of deal it really is. There were SO many people and SO many planes in all sizes. It was fun but way too hot for all of us even at 10 in the morning. We stayed for awhile and then topped the morning off with a stop at the outlets and some lunch.

Vroom...Vroom!

Thanks LeAnne!!

Go Brewers!!

Connor and Daddy in front of Miller Park

Enjoying a cold one...

Concentrating on the game
Yesterday we were lucky enough to get my company's tickets and took Connor to the Brewers game. This was his 1st game of the season, 2nd so far. Front row is definitely the way to watch a game and kept his attention....for atleast a couple of innings. I think he might've had more fun on the playground in front of Miller Park....

Happy 4th of July!!

Connor and Daddy waiting for the Parade to start

Connor loved the Fire trucks!

Waiting for MORE Fire trucks
Sunday morning we went to the OC Parade. As always it was so much fun! Connor really got into the Parade this year considering last year he was only 9 months old and slept through half of it. He was waving to everybody in the parade, clapping and even collecting some candy like the other kids. Then in the afternoon we went to a pool party at the Weed's. All the kids (and adults) had alot of fun. And to top the night off, a cookout at Nana & Papa's! No fireworks though, maybe next year when he can stay up a little later. Mommy and Daddy barely made it....

Fun in/with the Water

Saturday was such a beautiful day that we decided to set up the pool. We set it up while Connor was napping so we could surprise him when he woke up. He was definitely surprised and definitely shocked when he felt how cold the water was. It sure didn't stop Daddy (see 1st picture) from enjoying the pool:) Connor did however enjoy just being sprayed with the hose!! I guess we'll have to make a trip to the store to purchase a sprinkler.

Check out my "new" ride...

I know what you're gonna say...hello where have you been? It's been about 2 months since my last post. Things have been very busy.....we went to Arizona for vacation, went to the zoo, had many playdates with friends, Ian's birthday, Mother's day all while trying to get through the 1st trimester (and part of 2nd) of this pregnancy! This one was really kicking my butt.

Check out Connor's new ride that I scored at a rummage sale last week!

18 Month Stats...

Today was Connor's 18 month checkup.... it pretty much went exactly how I thought it would, the minute we walked into the room he cried off and on throughout the entire appointment. It was pretty cute though when he grabbed my car keys, pointed to the door and said "go"?!?! Luckily he wasn't due for any shots this time so that was a good thing. He did however have to get his finger pricked for a lead test. Wouldn't you know there wasn't a peep out of him during that...apparently getting weighed and measured is much more painful:)!!

I know everyone has always said that Connor is so big but lately complete strangers are asking if he is 2 or 2 1/2 years old! Here is why I guess:

30 lbs = 90%

35 inches = 97%

Head = 90%

He's our BIG BOY!!!

Firsts

Yesterday we took Connor sledding for the first time. Granted we stayed in our yard, it was perfect for him! The day was beautiful, snow was still there but it was warm and sunny. Connor had so much fun, I don't think he stopped smiling the entire time.
Today we went to the new Dave & Busters to celebrate Grandpa Sladek's B-day. It was alot of fun, although very busy. All Connor wanted to do is play the games and collect more tickets!
Watch for a post next weekend when we take Connor for his "first" haircut!!!! Stay tuned......

Playing with the sand

I love playhouses....

Saturday morning we went to the Betty Brinn's Children's Museum with Heidi and Miss Jillian. We went right when they opened so we had the place pretty much to ourselves for the first 1/2 hour then by 11am it got a little too busy....and someone was getting a little cranky!!

Connor had alot more fun than the last time he was there, he was only 4 months old:)! Can't wait to go back again later this Spring.

Such a big boy!

Ribbit, Ribbit (Did I use that caption once before?!?!)

Back to the Wilderness we go... this time we stayed at Glacier Canyon which is within the Wilderness Resort. I had found a great deal on Craigslist, a 3 bedroom "Presidential" Suite!! It was fabulous - I could've moved in. This time, we went with our friends Tim and Robin and their two great kids - Tiernan and Kalyn. We all had a blast!! It actually wasn't too busy either especially at Cubby's Cove over at the Wilderness on the Lake. That place is just perfect for the little ones ...as well as those who don't like crowds, me being one of them:) Enjoy the pictures...I'm once again already thinking when we're going back!!

Paparazzi

Sir.... your picture please?
This weekend was jam packed!! Friday night Chris and I went out for an early Valentine's Day dinner at Mr. B's. It was the best steak I've had in quite awhile...YUMMO!! Saturday we had Miss Olivia's 1st Birthday Party as well as Mr. Cooper's 1st. Both parties were great and Connor had so much fun with all the kids!! It definitely was a long day but he sure was a trooper.
Hoping this week goes by fast...we head up to the Wilderness Resort on Thursday:)!!

A Typical Sunday Morning....

Reading the Sunday Paper at the Kitchen Table

Well it's been a couple of weeks since I last posted..... Went back to our normal schedule after all the Holiday fun. Then last Thursday I had my gallbladder removed. So it's been slow movin for me around the house. While recovering I have a 10lb weight limit which Connor obviously exceeds that. Also this past week Connor has had quite the cough which at some points would make him gag and even throw up once. He had also been weezing the last couple of nights so Saturday morning I called the Dr. and they wanted to see him at the office. His oxygen level was only at 93 when it should be at 100. So with the help of the nurse, we had to give him a 10 minute breathing treatment which was a horrible experience. I've never seen him cry so loud and fight so hard then during that. However it did bring his oxygen level up to 96. They also tested him for RSV which is a viral respiratory infection and we should get the results back tomorrow. We had to continue a breathing treatment at home with an inhaler. He goes back to the Dr. on Tuesday for a follow up. So it's definitely been hard the last couple of days, luckily Chris has just been such a wonderful husband and father taking care of the two of us:)
